Most people treat copy as the thing you add once the design is done. A month into her time at November Five, a product designer hosted a Munch & Mingle to argue the opposite. Twenty-eight colleagues worked through negativity bias, a 1978 study on the word “because”, and the line between a nudge and a dark pattern, then played a quiz with zero prizes and plenty of competitive grins.
