Technical Analyst
for Spencer

You challenge our clients and engineers on Spencer’s requirements, integration architecture, scalability/re-usability and risks, leaving no assumption unchallenged and no stone unturned.

Your Job

Towards our clients, you represent and demonstrate Spencer’s beautiful architectural brain. You know how it works, what neurons need juice and what blockers are holding back the perfect flow. You advise clients on how Spencer can be feasibly tailored to their organisation’s needs and provide feedback on the architectural design.

Your job starts with analysing and understanding our client’s business, infrastructure and tech stack to define an integration roadmap between their ecosystem and Spencer. Starting during the sales phase, all the way throughout the implementation of a project, you participate actively in workshops with different stakeholders.

From start to finish, you translate technical project details into a language that both very technical and non-technical participants can understand. You effortlessly describe the structure, characteristics, behaviour, and other aspects of software to all project stakeholders. Additionally, you know exactly what our clients need and thus what Spencer needs to offer them. You share your ideas on how to further evolve Spencer as a product.

By gathering all information from Spencer stakeholders, you create technical documentation and diagrams and identify the necessary specs. Keeping all functional and nonfunctional requirements in mind, you determine the technical design and our integration game plan with a variety of tech stacks at our clients. You ensure that the overall architecture is maintained coherently throughout the project lifecycle. Though, always keeping system integrations and the product specifications in mind.

As a strong believer in co-creation and teamwork, you naturally do all of this in close collaboration with our colleagues. To stay ahead, you dive into different technologies and new innovations – and you love doing so. You’re also constantly on the lookout to optimise and automate our processes. And of course, you share what you’ve learned and improved with your team members – and vice versa, you’ll always be learning from them!

Your profile

  • You have proven experience with system integrations and architectural design of digital products;
  • You’re a people person, just as much as a tech person. You can swap your tech hat for your client hat effortlessly;
  • You’re familiar with software architecture in large enterprises, their single sign-on and commonly used authentication protocols (OAUTH, OIDC, SAML);
  • You have a solid know-how in secure, reliable and efficient REST or SOAP API’s for the web;
  • You’re knowledge of networking, VPN’s and Azure is a plus;
  • You feel best in a fast-paced environment;
  • You have the mental flexibility to dive deep into details of the data to ensure quality, while still understanding the big picture;
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently, French is a plus.

Office Assistant

You are a Jack or Jill of all trades, expertly juggling a variety of responsibilities around our office.

Your Job

Your primary responsibility is to welcome and take care of all of November Five’s guests and regulars. You make all of our visitors feel welcome and get where (and with whom) they need to be. To make the best first impression, you ensure that the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.

Furthermore, you take care of us by providing administrative support across the organization. You make sure our office remains properly stocked with stationery supplies, food and drinks, and you’re there to answer people’s questions when they arise. When a request comes in or a malfunction arises, you’re our go-to person to resolve it swiftly.

All the while, you oversee incoming and outgoing mail, e-mails and phone calls. You also get a regular dose of fresh air and sunshine when running some errands (although we can’t truly promise we won’t send you out in the rain sometimes…). We also make sure you get room to be creative! In collaboration with you colleague Office Assistant, you can tinker with the decoration and (to a lesser degree) floorplan of our office space, adapting it to be more fun, tasteful and functional.

It is a whole list of responsibilities, shared with your colleague Office Assistant. You will relieve her after the morning and take on your responsibilities between 12pm and 8pm. For those 8 hours, it all boils down to you: a competent and organized professional with phenomenal communication skills, who always ensures that office operations run smoothly and who adds maximum value to all November Fivers!

Your profile

  • You have 3 or more years of experience in an administrative / supporting role;
  • You are willing to work daily from 12pm to 8pm (monday to friday) to continuously cover our reception;
  • You have solid written and verbal communication skills;
  • You can multitask, organise and prioritise;
  • You might have a touch of OCD regarding cleanliness and order;
  • You have a spontaneous personality and like to take initiative;
  • You are resourceful in coming up with solutions for different questions;
  • You have strong computer proficiency;
  • You speak English and Dutch fluently.

Our offer

November Five is a place unlike any other: we work hard to find the perfect balance between culture, individual growth and reward.

You become part of a high-performing organisation and an enthusiastic team with a mindset to win! Together, we raise the bar by continuously improving our way of working and ourselves: we challenge clients, projects and processes by first and foremost defining and following our methodology. We always retrospect our projects to formulate a plan of attack for an even superior next one.

And as a final piece of the puzzle, we ensure that our remuneration blueprint can be tailored to your personal needs and efforts. We all enjoy flexible office hours and an equally flexible income plan. There are some cherries on top, including a breakfast and fresh daily lunch, made by our own chef, and an office space you’ll be happy to call home.
