IT'S A
DATE

November Five isn’t just a name: it’s the date our brilliant adventure in the digital realm started. The name reminds us of where we came from, what we’ve built so far, and the many possibilities the future holds.

Our Company

Launched in 2009 as an independent mobile development agency under the name Appstrakt, we’ve spent the past five years growing organically into a full-service digital innovation partner. To better represent our transformation, we decided to change our name to November Five early in 2016.
Spencer ideation

From mobile development to the web, from all forms of software to custom hardware: we embrace the full spectrum of technology. Our developers, engineers, experience designers, and project managers are our digital construction crew, capable of turning practically anything into a finished build.

They work together with two newer teams. Our growing Strategy & Service Design division takes client’s concepts from first spark to a solid, strategic foundation. And our guys in Product Operations streamline, manage and improve the frameworks that offers continued support to both our products and our internal operations.

Together, we shape, build and sustain digital products and services that will leave their mark.

Our People

People are the true face of November Five. The company is still run by its founding team: each of our four original team members brings his own expertise to the floor every day. Nick is our hardware lab inhabitant, while Vincent functions as our most passionate design proponent. Thomas is our native applications chief, and Tom is the fireball and strategist of the bunch.

Today, we are backed by over 50 multifaceted, fast and furious team members. We all share the same curiosity, love for technology, drive and ambition. Our combined, diverse set of talents, backgrounds and expertise makes the difference – and we’re always challenging ourselves to take it one step further.

November Five guys and gals

Our Culture

We know it, research shows it: happy team members are productive team members. We took great care in building a transparent, open culture where everyone feels at home.

Our Culture

We know it, research shows it: happy team members are productive team members. We took great care in building a transparent, open culture where everyone feels at home.

OUR TEAMS

Our teams are the solid foundation of November Five. They each offer the services our clients count on, but they’re never silos: close collaboration and co-creation are crucial to the way we work.

November Five is born and bred in Antwerp, Belgium, and we feel right at home in its creative (some would say mildly odd) atmosphere. Our office culture is one of our biggest assets, and we like our physical surroundings to support those good vibes! We firmly believe that a professional way of handling things doesn’t exclude having fun.

OFFICE OPERATIONS

BIG WHEELS
KEEP ON
TURNING

There’s quite a few almost-cliche’d sayings quoting the need for great support. A company doesn’t organise itself. You can’t work on an empty stomach. A cluttered desk, a cluttered mind. Our team makes sure everyone stays well-fed and de-cluttered, and provides the grease in November Five’s administrative wheels. We make the office feel a bit like home, and make sure it always runs smoothly.

Our areas of expertise and personalities set us apart, but our drive and ambition bind us together – and we try to impart it in all of our people, too. We lead by example and work hard to be honest, reliable, and approachable even as our company grows. We’ve built a challenging and encouraging culture to inspire people and help them achieve their full potential. And to make sure we keep this great vibe alive, we hire with care, looking for the best for the team. We shape, build and sustain our company the way we do our products: in short iterations, always prepared to alter course, and with a strong strategic outlook. Together, we’ll make sure November Five always stays a step ahead.
